Dear MARVEL'ers,
Please find below our latest newsletter, with highlights and news linked to the MARVEL community.
This month, you can read about a new study by MARVEL researchers presenting a new framework to handle hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for materials simulations, which works by interfacing two widely used software tools that belong to the classic and quantum worlds. You can also learn about a proposed fully automated workflow that makes it much easier for scientists to calculate the stopping site of muons and their interaction with the environment during muon spectroscopy, increasing the power of this experimental technique when it comes to studying fine details in the magnetic properties of materials.
Note that the registration now is open for the Psi-k 2025 conference which will take place once again at EPFL on August 25-28!
The next MARVEL Distinguished Lecture will feature Alexandre Tkatchenko (University of Luxembourg) on March 6, who will talk about realizing Schrödinger's dream with AI-enabled molecular simulations.
Note too that the next MARVEL Junior Seminar will take place on March 28 and the Ig Nobel Award Tour Show is back on the EPFL campus on March 31!
