Dear MARVEL'ers,
Please find below our latest newsletter, with highlights and news linked to the MARVEL community.
This month, you can discover our second success story. After the story of Jacutingaite a few weeks ago, read today about the search for topological materials in MARVEL, with great collaborations between theorists and experimentalists. It all began with the creation of a database of topological materials, and continued with groundbreaking studies on bismuth iodide, followed by the Weyl semi-metals tantalum phosphide and tungsten phosphide. The insight gained from research on topological materials has spilled out on other areas of physics.
Mark your calendars for the next MARVEL Junior Seminars, including one today! If you don't have your ticket for the Ig Nobel Award Tour Show next Monday March 31, you can still enjoy research that makes people laugh... then think as the event will also be lived-streamed.
Please help us advertise the MARVEL INSPIRE Potentials Master's fellowships, with the next deadline already on April 15, 2025.
And of course, don't forget to register to the Psi-k 2025 conference which will take place once again at EPFL on August 25-28!
