MARVEL Junior Retreat 2017

The MARVEL Junior Retreat 2017 brings together young researchers from physics, chemistry and material science research groups working within MARVEL.

The organizing committee consists of four postdocs who work in four different MARVEL groups: Senja Barthel, Fernando Gargiulo, Vamshi Katukuri and Vladimir Rybkin.

This year's retreat format is more of a work-session than that of a conference. Focus will be on improving collaborations through informal communication, and finding overlaps of interest. The invited talks are on general topics like intellectual property, and speakers from industry have been invited.  A beautiful venue and hopefully a sunny weather will help making the retreat vivid and beneficial.

The Junior Retreat is held at the Hotel Paladina, in Pura near Lugano.
