Jürg Hutter was a professor for physical chemistry at the University of Zurich until his retirement in 2026. Within MARVEL phase I, he was the project leader of Horizontal Project 3. In phase II, he has been a group leader in Design & Discovery Project 4. Within phase III, May 2022 – July 2026, he was group leader in the Bonus project, Leveraging Quantum Computers and Algorithms for Materials Discovery.
