  • AI & Gender: A Practical Human Rights Toolbox

  • Digital in our daily lives in a high school in Porrentruy

    MARVEL will be present at the thematic day organized by EPFL at the Lycée Cantonal of Porrentruy on October 30, 2019. Entitled "Digital in our daily lives, today and tomorrow" this day on the theme of digital education is offered by the EPFL Education Promotion Service to the students and teachers of this high school.

  • Seminar on Hidden, Entangled and Resonating Orders

    Nicola Spaldin, ETH Zurich professor, NCCR MARVEL project leader and recent winner of the 2019 Marcel Benoist prize—the "Swiss Nobel Prize"—for her groundbreaking research on multiferroics will give a seminar on  "Hidden, Entangled and Resonating Orders" in Room CE15 at EPFL on Friday, 18 October.

  • CCMX-MARVEL Materials Science Day 2019

    NCCR MARVEL and CCMX, the Competence Centre for Materials Science and Technology, are co-organizing their third Materials Science Day where both experimental and modeling approaches will be addressed. The morning will be dedicated to MARVEL projects related to Materials for Energy, including modeling and first experimental validation. During the afternoon, we will present progress with ongoing CCMX Materials Challenges. Participants from industry and academia are welcome to discover new projects, make new contacts and initiate collaborations.

  • EPFL Open House 2019
